Nicole Kidman was given a reason to be scared on the set of her new horror flick, The Invasion.
Kidman, along with seven other crew members, was involved in an on-set car accident early Thursday morning when a stunt went awry, according to both the Los Angeles police and fire departments.
Warner Bros., the studio producing the sci-fi alien flick, confirmed the smashup and said that Kidman was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation and released shortly thereafter with a clean bill of health.
The studio said that the accident took place when the driver of a rig towing Kidman's car crashed while negotiating a turn. Using a rig is standard operating procedure for cinematic driving scenes.
