The Baseballs cover Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella’ in 50’s style
Novelty German band The Baseballs are covering modern pop songs with an 有力的energetic 50’s twist. They’ve had quite a bit of success on the continent already, and are now building up some buzz here in the UK.
Their style might be a bit 耍花招的gimmicky, but you’ll find it hard not to jive along to their first single, a cover of Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella‘. Maybe this version will usher in ten weeks of sunshine, unlike the original, which did the precise opposite.
