Davichi returns to Music Bank with Time, Please Stop

Rising above the idol groups with their powerful voices, Davichi returns with a new mini-album a year after their hit release Davichi in Wonderland. The talented duo worked with leading songwriters like Kim Do Hoon, Yoon Myung Sun, and H2M for the five tracks on Innocence. Bang Si Hyuk, the composer of Baek Ji Young's "My Ear's Candy", T-ara's "Like the First Time", and 2AM's "Can't Let You Go Even if I Die", cook ups another hit in Davichi's new single "Stop the Time", which combines melancholic ballad and punk rock for a dramatic genre-defying piece. Brown Eyed Soul's Yoon Gun also composed the song "First Kiss" for the duo.

Davichi’s comeback title track is titled Time, Please Stop and is said to be a ballad with a fusion of punk rock. This may seem like a very strange combination but take a listen to the track for yourself as the girls impress you with their powerful vocals.

Davichi to make their comeback with Innocence
by shockimpulse on April 30, 2010

It’s been announced that female power duo Davichi will be making their first comeback in over a year with their new upcoming mini-album Innocence.

This will be the girls’ return to the k-pop scene since their last album Davichi In Wonderland 15 months ago.

Their new album is already garnering much interest with big names like Bang Shi Hyuk, Brown Eyed Soul member Yoon Gun, Kim Do Hoon and Yoon Myung Sun contributing to the album with their compositions.

The title track Time, Please Stop was composed by Bang Shi Hyuk, the genius behind Baek Ji Young’s My Ear’s Candy, 8eight’s Without A Heart, 2AM’s Can’t Let You Go Even If I Die and T-ara’s Like The First Time.

Davichi’s 2009 hit 8282 was a ballad dance track and apparently their new title track is going to be classified as “ballad meets punk rock”.

Here’s a little refresher course on their powerful vocals.
