Brangelina isn't the only one making headlines in Cannes. Lindsay Lohan and her BFF, deejay Samantha Ronson shared a kiss on board of Diddy's yacht in the South of France yesterday. Affectionate with each other all night, holding hands and getting cozy, the two still say they are just friends. The best of friends apparently.

Lindsay Lohan is entering the next phase of her sentence for misdemeanor drunk driving – and the good news is, she'll be prepared if she's ever up for a role on CSI. After fulfilling several requirements set by her DUI plea agreement – including rehab, community service and 84 minutes spent in jail – Lohan will next have to spend some time in a morgue, her lawyer, Blair Berk, told a judge Thursday at a hearing in a Los Angeles court, the Associated Press reports. In an effort to illustrate the potentially fatal consequences of drinking and driving, she's set to spend two, 4-hour days in a morgue. After that, she'll spend two days working in an emergency room. The actress, 21, reached a plea agreement in August based on charges from two separate DUI incidents, one in May in Beverly Hills and one in July in Santa Monica. Lohan did not attend Thursday's hearing, which was held to gauge her progress in meeting the terms of her deal. Morgue duty will certainly be a comedown from Lohan's usual world of red carpets and events. On Wednesday, she stole the show at the Hollywood premiere for Cloverfield, where she shone in a black Hervé Léger cocktail dress – and stuck to Red Bull and water.
Lindsay Lohan may be heading back to court again soon. Tracie Rice, who was in a car driven by Michele Peck, the mother of Lohan's assistant, when Lohan chased their car to the Santa Monica Police department on July 24, has filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court. Rice, who originally filed the suit last August, added papers with more claims in December, according to the Associated Press. She is seeking unspecified damages. After the incident, Dina Lohan released a statement that said: "We are doing everything in our power in support of Lindsay and I won't give up - this is my daughter and we love her." Shortly after the alleged carjacking, Lohan, 21, was charged with DUI and possession of a controlled substance. Then, on August 5, Lohan admitted she was "addicted to alcohol and drugs" and checked into Utah's Cirque Lodge for treatment. She served an 84-minute jail sentence as a result of her July arrest and a separate DUI on May 26. Rice claims she has spent about $7,000 on medical bills, including a therapist who charges $175 per visit, and lost her $60,000 per year job due to the chase. In the original filing, Rice claimed that Lohan, 21, put she and Peck "at extreme risk of death or injury" until they arrived at the police station, where police met them with guns drawn, and that she "thought she was being carjacked." Lohan recently took a sip of champagne in a party in Italy, but her lawyer says she's "back on track" and is now sober. She's still facing court charges from Raymundo Ortega, a busboy at The Ivy, who is suing the actress for $200,000 in damages after a crash between his van and her Mercedes in Beverly Hills last October. A rep for Lohan couldn't be reached for comment.
Lindsay Lohan suffered a setback in her sobriety over New Year's, but is back on track, her lawyer said Thursday. A video of the actress drinking champagne directly from a bottle while in Capri, Italy, hit the Internet Thursday, first appearing on TMZ.com. "After being handed a champagne bottle while on a dance floor in Italy on New Year's Eve and drinking from it, the good news is that Lindsay stopped herself, called her sponsor, and got herself back on track," her lawyer, Blair Berk, said. "There is no magic cure here. The most unfortunate part of this is that Lindsay has to share her 'one day at a time' with the entire world." Lohan was in Italy to receive an award at the 12th Annual Capri Hollywood International Film Festival. In a video, she is seen thanking organizers for inviting her to the festival, giving a shout out to John Malkovich, then later taking a swig from a bottle of champagne while on the dance floor. In October, Lohan checked out of the exclusive Cirque Lodge Treatment Center in Utah, where she had been in treatment since August. Lohan's treatment there began in the weeks following her early morning July 24 arrest in Santa Monica, Calif., on suspicion of drunken driving after a brief car chase.
Lindsay Lohan's manager-mom Dina Lohan says that her daughter's ex-boyfriend, Riley Giles, purposefully hurt the actress – but denies a recent report that she called his mother to berate her parenting skills. "I never spoke to Riley's mom, nor would I blame her for his behavior," Dina said. "Riley is a grown man." The report claimed the phone call was made after Giles sold the story of his affair with Lohan to News of the World. Dina, however, did slam Giles for his tell-all interview with the paper, in which he revealed intimate details of their relationship. "He took desperate measures to hurt Lindsay because she broke up with him," she says. Lohan, 21, and Giles, 25, who met while seeking treatment at Utah's Cirque Lodge this past summer, split in late November.
Lindsay Lohan is reportedly desperate to revive her singing career. Lohan, in rehab for the third time this year, wants to get back into the recording studio, according to insiders. She is due to deliver a third album for her label, and she has told her assistants that she wants to make it happen. "Lindsay loves music," says a friend. "She loves writing songs. She has let execs know she's ready to deliver the album." A music exec said, "A record by Lindsay Lohan costs almost nothing to make. She doesn't need a big band. You just give her some songs and session musicians. And, God knows, she already has name recognition." Maybe Lohan realizes she will be hard-pressed to find a film company willing to insure her given her behavior over the past year.
The nasty and very public divorce battle between Lindsay Lohan's parents, Michael and Dina, is finally over. A Long Island judge issued his final judgment this morning in the divorce proceedings between the Lohans, granting Dina the split she wanted. The judge reportedly complimented the couple for doing the right thing for the kids, and for working "through the night" to get the final details ironed out. No financial details were disclosed. No mention was made in court of Lindsay or the former couple's other three children and Michael's ability to see them because the custody battle remains to be fought - next month.
Lindsay Lohan has been sued for an undisclosed amount for assault and negligence by a passenger who was in the car allegedly chased by the actress shortly before her DUI arrest last month. "What Miss Lohan did that night was extremely dangerous and reprehensible," said the woman who filed the suit. "Someone could easily have been killed or seriously hurt because of her irresponsible decisions that evening." The woman's attorney says, "My client, Tracie Rice, thought she was going to die that night, and wants Ms. Lohan to be held accountable because Lohan's behavior was so extreme and outrageous. Ms. Rice is still traumatized from the incident." Lohan's rep has not commented.
Update from rehab: Lindsay Lohan is reportedly doing well at Cirque in Orem treatment center in Utah, described as a "model patient" by people inside the Mormon facility. Lohan gets no special treatment, and attends 12-step and other meetings daily, talks with psychiatrists and psychologists, and receives "other medical treatment." She is not in a private room, but shares with two roommates. Lohan is on dishes, laundry and toilet cleaning duties just like everyone else, and doctors inside say she has been cooperative from the start. According to TMZ, Lohan went to an intense medical detox facility the day after her last arrest for eight days before heading directly to Cirque.
Despite weekend reports that Lindsay Lohan was holed up in her mom's Long Island home, several media outlets are reporting that the star has entered the Cirque Lodge rehab center in Sundance, Utah. According to sources at the drug and alcohol rehab facility, Lohan arrived this weekend to begin an intense 30-day program. Named by Town & County mag as one of the top rehabs in the U.S., stars such as Mary Kate Olsen and David Hasselhoff have been previous residents. For $30,000 and up,Cirque Lodge offers private rooms with spectacular views, Jacuzzi tubs and fireplaces.
Conspicuous by her absence since her July 24 arrest for DUI and cocaine possession, Lindsay Lohan has quietly made her way to her mom's Long Island home. Lohan reportedly flew first class to Kennedy Airport late Friday with her sister Ali. "She's doing well," Dina Lohan told the New York Post. The Georgia Rule actress is currently out on $25,000 bail and due in court on August 24.
