Hi Spicy, Meet Sir Bo! Bo is 2 1/2 months old. He is a Chihuahua (believe it or not). He thinks he might be a Bulldog but he is not. He is master of the house and doesn't mind letting you know.

Breed: Cocker Spaniel
Age: 4 years 3 months (died unexpectedly on January 3, 2007)

Dasch started out as my dad's dog because I don't think I would have picked out a Cocker. When he was about 7 months old, my dad became ill so I took him home. He followed me constantly, and at first it made me nuts to have someone on my heels at 3:00 in the morning when I needed to use the bathroom, but before long I fell for his loyal, loyal ways. He hated the vet, strangers, and the groomer but he loved me. My boyfriend told me he would plop down in front of the window in the living room when I left for work everyday and stay there, seemingly depressed until I returned to his happy, happy dance. Even if I walked outside for five minutes, upon my return, he acted as if I'd been gone for weeks. On weekends, we went everywhere together; we were best buddies. He died mysteriously after a sickness that lasted just a day. -Tanna

3 yr old Rhodesian Ridgeback, a robust 100lbs

Excels in sleeping and chasing the cat. Must rest his head on a pillow to achieve maximum comfort on his Mom and Dad's bed. Loves grapefruit, yellow peppers and has been known to eliminate an entire tray of snacks when Mom's back was turned. We have had him living with us for the past 6 months and he's already one of the family. We have had his cousin Lucy since she was 8 wks old and when we found out his owners couldn't keep him any longer from the breeder, we lept at the chance to adopt him. He's a badass. His nickname is teabag. Use your imagination.

His name is Pepito he is a three-year-old Pug. His favorite activities are: sleeping, eating treats, chewing bones and is on a continuous quest to find his favorite stuffed Pug baby that we think Charlie the cat hid out of pure malice!

This is my baby. One of them anyway. I just had my 5th baby girl last week. I have 5 girls all 2 years apart except for this last one. Greta my (German) Rottweiler is 160 lbs.(at least) and the best family pet you could have despite all the negative crap you hear. Rottweilers are very adaptable, low maintenance, smart, lovable, strong & loyal. She loves our girls & is so gentle with the tiny baby we have. She loves kids and adults. She is very friendly but she is also very very protective. She would take a bullet for me but she would also kiss you to death once she knows your ok. Her looks alone are intimidating yet she is solid & gorgeous and THE BEST LOOKING ROTTY OUT THERE! SHE is our SUPER STAR!

Bio: Lucey was born in a small town in Missouri. She loves playing with her big brother (also a poodle) Kobe. She also loves her family and going to the dog park. She would LOOOOVE to be Star of the Week!

Name: "Snickers"
Age: 18 months
Breed: Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd Mix
Bio: He lives with his mom and sister in Sacramento, CA. He LOVES going to the puppy park to play with all of his friends. Snickers' favorite treat are Pedigree Jumbones (yum)!



*Roxy & Harley-Dylan!*

Roxy - Boston Terrier -2 months old She was a gift for me to have when I came home from the critical unit for an entire month at a hospital from a terrible accident. She is the love I needed to get back home!


Harley-Dylan - Brindle French Bulldog - 5 years old Harley was a rescue dog. I saved him from an abusive home and he is just as special as Roxy.

Birthday: July 4th
Age: 3
Hometown: Louisville, Kentucky
Current Residence: Beverly Hills, California

Born on a farm to parents of unknown origin (he’s a Kentucky farm accident!), the little guy was found wandering the winding roads of Bluegrass country all by his lonesome one day. The little cream pup – he wasn’t six weeks old – was picked up by a kind passerby and brought to the wonderful folks at the Kentucky Humane Society.

A few weeks later, I was driving home from a successful meeting and wanted to celebrate by playing with the puppies at the Humane Society. I had done this before, but the minute I walked in to the Puppy Playpen, my life was changed forever. The little guy had my heart! And we’ve been inseparable since.

I’d had Bailey less than a month when I was offered a job at a Thoroughbred farm. Bailey came to work with me every day. He was the happiest pup I’ve ever seen – the smells made it like Little Doggie Olfactory Heaven! A few months later, I was offered a job in my hometown and Bail wonderfully braved the friendly skies. Since moving to California, Bailey has successfully competed twice in the San Pedro LobsterFest Dog Parade: taking home the blue ribbon in the 2006 Large Division.

When we lived in Kentucky, ‘walks’ were running through the paddocks with some of the most talented Thoroughbreds in recent memory (Smarty Jones, Point Given, Silver Charm, and more)...but now Bailey’s thrice daily walks are down Rodeo Drive and past the paparazzi. He’s come a long way from that lonely Louisville road!

*Homeless Puppy!*

Homeless Puppy needs a home! He is in the Southern California area and is looking for someone to love him!

Hey Spicy!

A stray puppy followed my son home from school last week. He's adorable, appx 6 months old, we think he's a Shepherd/lab mix. He is great with other dogs (we have 4) and kids, not so great with cats - he likes to chase them, much to the chagrin of our cats. We have a house full of rescues already and with his cat issues, we simply cannot keep him.

We are in the southern california area. I was wondering if you'd mind posting him on your site, maybe another reader nearby would be interested....

Homeless Puppy - Shepherd/lab mix, male, appx 6 months old.
Very happy, friendly disposition. Great with other dogs & kids. Not for a cat home - he chases them.
We will have him vaccinated & neutered. Southern California area, will deliver him to the right home. No charge for the puppy. We do request the lucky adopter's make a donation to a rescue group in honor of him. We cannot keep him as we already have 4 dogs, and we have cats.

Here's our Boston Terrorist (truly, it fits him!) Willie. He's 4 years old and loves feet. He had a rough go in the beginning with various medical problems, but he's pulled through. But I do think he needs doggy therapy for some of his hang ups.

This Weeks 'Star Dogs of the Week' Are...

*Bear & Case!*














These are my boys. Bear is the Rottie and Case is the Boxer. They are both fabulous dogs and great friends to me. I have had Bear since he was a pup. Case lived a street over from us. He would break out of his yard and show up at my door on a daily basis. One day when taking him home, they asked if I wanted to keep him. How could I say no? It was love at first sight when I seen him running through the yard with his tongue flapping in the wind! They both bring so much joy and comfort into my life.

Woody is a Danish-Swedish Farmdog who lives in Long Beach, California. He just turned 3 years old in October. Woody's favorite activities include snuggling, visiting the dog beach in Belmont Shore, catching frisbees in mid-air, dressing up for Halloween (see the pics) and tackling his feline-sibling Punky. Woody loves celebrity gossip, and this year for Halloween, he went as Dog The Bounty Hunter.

He passed away in October of 2004. He was a Lab mix and had just turned 5. The cause of his death is not known. We adopted Jack when we lived in Park City Utah from an adoption day at Pet Smart. When we brought him home he was only 10 months old. He loved to go for rides in the car and was such a cuddle puppy. He was always at my feet. He has traveled all over! I miss him more than I could have ever ever imagined possible and wanted to share his cuteness with everyone. He loved going to our beach house on the Eastern Shore. The picture of him in the chair was from one of his last trips down and forever how I will remember him. I love you bubbies!
