After scrapping an unreleased third album they had worked on for 18 months, the Scissor Sisters took a break, with singer Jake Shears heading to Berlin. Getting the inspiration he needed after a couple months on the city's club circuit, Shears returned with the "blissfully sinister" songs that would become Night Work. The band has proudly announced that the album is as "supersexual and sleazy" as its Robert Mapplethorpe cover art.

Now the album’s official single has appeared.

The Scissor Sisters are getting ready to release their much anticipated third studio album "Night Work" on June 28th!! It's been four years since they've released sophomore effort "Ta-Dah" back in 06'. First single "Fire With Fire" produced by Stuart Price will be officially released on June 20th!! On her music video for “Can’t Be Tamed:” Before the video debuted Cyrus told Billboard, “You’re going to, like, die when you see the birdcage in the video because it’s so crazy. I’ve got, like, 30 dancers in there and a tree and a nest. Literally, it’s out of control. I’m definitely going to be doing a lot more stuff like that.”

On her own musical tastes: “I listen to zero pop music, which is really weird for someone who makes pop music. My 13-year-old self would have beaten up my 17-year-old self because she would be like, ‘You’re a sellout!’ But that’s not what it is. It’s not dance music that’s just about, ‘Ooh, I’m in the club and everyone’s looking at me.’ It means something. I’m not just sitting here trying to sell glitz and glamour . . . because no one lives that life. A lot of [pop] songs are super shallow, but this music isn’t.”

On her inspirations: “With anything—the clothes I wear or the way I want to look— I don’t plan it. Even with the video [ for 'Can’t Be Tamed'] I had the treatment, but beyond that, it was whatever comes. We didn’t have all the choreography set in stone because I didn’t want it to end up looking fake and polished. Everything in life has to come naturally or I feel like it’s just been done.”

On Glee: “Honestly, musicals? I just can’t. What if this was real life and I was just walking down the street on Rodeo Drive and all of a sudden I just burst into song about how much I love shoes? (laughs) It would get hits on YouTube.”

Nicole Scherzinger has made her way to the top of the "Dancing with the Stars" championship that airs tonight. Not only that she is finally ready to release her debut solo album later this year. Scherzinger stopped by KISSFM to premiere her new single "Nobody Can Change Me." The "empowering" pop/rock number will be hitting iTunes tomorrow! It's a nice song and it's for sure catchy and radio friendly but I'm not sure if it will be a hit for her. Be sure to check it out, Enjoy!!

Nicole Scherzinger premiered her new single ‘Nobody Can Change Me‘ on Ryan Seacrest radio today. We were still under the impression she would 拋棄chuck out another Pussycat Dolls album, but perhaps Nicole has realised she might be better off giving her solo career another shot than trying to front an entire new line up of dolls.

Her new single however, is very unlike the PCD. It’s a radio friendly track, which she described as “an empowering, uplifting song”. Think ‘Unpretty’ by TLC or ‘Ugly’ by Sugababes. It’s a nice track, but perhaps a bit of an unusual song if it’s to kickstart her solo career.

Enrique Iglesias is back with a new album, ‘Euphoria‘, which has been described as a collection of songs about setting your problems aside and having some fun. The record features guest appearances from Akon, Nicole Scherzinger, Pitbull, Puerto Rican Reggaeton duo Wisin and Yandel and Lionel Richie.

It’s been a while since the Wonder Girls released a new song after Nobody in 2008, so of course when they finally announced their new song 2 Different Tears, all Wonderfuls and neutrals were hyped to see what the hit-making Wonder Girls would put out this time.

A lot has happened since they made America as their headquarters and so on. But the biggest change was Sunmi leaving and Hye Lim coming in as a replacement earlier this year. It was a shock but life has to go on.

Having heard the teaser and seen the pictures, it was great to see the MV as they really rock it with their retro funky concept and you have to say no one does retro like them. The funny cameos by Bobby Lee and JYP further increases the replayability. I was worried that they would fall short of expectations because of the long gap, but the Wonder Girls and JYP really released a gem of a song again!
