Thanks to New York's Daily News, they have put together some of this year's most memorable quotes from the mouths of, shall we say, some of our favorite celebs:
"You know what? I am actually not that much into voting. I think it's kind of crazy that a woman is running, because I think that women deal with a lot of emotions and menopause and PMS and stuff. Like, I'm so moody all the time. I know I couldn't be able to run a country 'cause I'd be crying one day and yelling at people the next day, you know?" - Brooke Hogan on her reality show.
"Jesus was persecuted, and I'm going to get persecuted, you know?" - Heidi Montag to USA Today.
"I cried my eyelashes off." - Oprah Winfrey on Barack Obama's win in November.
"This song is for the emotionally retarded. You might know a few people who fall into that category. God knows I do." - Madonna shortly after her divorce became public.
"Somebody needs to step up and get this young woman into some quality care - and I do not apologize one whit, not one second, for trying to make this happen." - Dr. Phil on Britney Spears.
"Chace is built like a porcelain doll. I don't even know if he bleeds. He might have been crafted by Mattel. He has, like, the teen-idol genome. He's...beautiful." - Penn Badgley on costar Chace Crawford.
"I think it's really artsy. It wasn't in a skanky way. Annie took, like, a beautiful shot, and I thought that was really cool. That's what she wanted me to do, and you can't say no to Annie. She's so cute. She gets this puppy-dog look and you're like 'Okay.'" - Miley Cyrus on her controversial photo shoot for Vanity Fair.

Madonna Pays Up
Madonna and ex-hubby Guy Ritchie have reached a divorce settlement in which Ritchie will receive an amount between $76 million and $92 million. This includes the value of their country home in Ashcombe in western England as well as Punchbowl, their London pub. The singing star cited Ritchie's "unreasonable behavior" as the cause. The two were recently granted a preliminary "quickie divorce."

Perhaps you saw it coming but it's finally official- Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie have confirmed they are divorcing after seven and a half years of marriage.
Earlier this summer, when rumors were rampant about Madonna's involvement with the New York Yankees' Alex Rodriguez and word had it she'd hired Paul McCartney's divorce lawyer, Madonna dismissed any claims of unhappiness.
"My husband and I are not planning on getting a divorce," she said.

Madonna's Clothing Line..Blah
So you tell me what you think.
Yesterday was the launch of Madonna's new clothing line for H&M, called 'M'.
Sounds sophisticated enough right? I thought so too until I actually saw some of the junk. I converted the prices from GBP over to US Dollars so you can see what they are priced at.
In my opinion these clothes are bor-ring. They also resemble another celebrities clothing line. The Jacqueline Smith collection at Kmart.

M by Madonna hits stores

The M by Madonna collection went on sale today at H&M stores all over the world, causing mayhem at outlets of the Swedish fashion retailer. "I'm happy with the results and look forward to wearing M by Madonna along with the rest of the world," the Material Girl said of her exclusive line, which includes a leather trench, sequined shift dresses and calf-length pants with matching cropped jackets. Madonna already has an A-list fan: pal Gwyneth Paltrow has reportedly order one of everything.

Madonna moving home

Madonna is considering a move from London to NYC to be closer to her father, who is suffering from cancer. The Material Girl has been spotted checking out a few Manhattan properties and according to an insider, "Madonna, Guy and the kids are definitely moving to New York this year. The deal is to spend as much time there as in London - if not more." Madonna's dad Tony Ciccone is reportedly in a Michigan hospital.

Madonna puts in overtime at the gym

Madonna works hard to keep up her fit form - and rarely takes a day off from exercising. "I mix it up - Pilates, gyrotonics, yoga," says the pop superstar. "I do it six days a week, with Sundays off... Actually Sunday is a day of horse riding. There's no such thing as a day off." She does admit, however, to spoiling her diet once in a while by having "fat days." "I run longer on the treadmill and don't eat as much the next day, so then it evens out, but I'm sure it's all in my head."
Madge in UK Elle Magazine
Madonna to Elle UK: "My daughter is going through a phase of wearing jeans that are so tight she can’t bend her knees in them. I have a go at her and say, ‘Can’t you wear something else? You have a closet full of clothes and you wear the same pants every day. And please wear a belt because I don’t want to see your butt crack when you bend over.’”

Strict mom Madonna

Material Mom Madonna keeps things strict with daughter Lourdes. "No boys for [Lourdes] until she turns 18," the singer says. "She's a good girl, though. She doesn't have it easy. Late-night TV, junk food and mess are not tolerated in my house." Madonna's brood are often forbidden from watching any TV at all, and if Lourdes doesn't put away her clothes, she may just lose them altogether. "My daughter has a problem picking things up in her room," she told a British magazine. "So if you leave your clothes on the floor, they're gone when you come home."
