Jailed Joe Francis Tries to Bribe Guard With Cash, Caught With Pills

Joe Francis isn't the smartest crayon in the box.

The filthy rich arrogant playboy has apparently been caught with pills in his Florida jail cell after trying to bribe a guard for a bottle of water with a $100 bill last night.

The guard reported Francis to higher ups which led to his being searched, (and with any luck, probed anally.) Francis was found to be carrying $700 cash and a number of unspecified pills.

Francis may face charges of introduction of contraband into a correctional facility, which is a felony, and possession of a controlled substance.

Francis was to be detained until April 23rd, but all that may change after this latest development.

Money can't buy you everything...moron.

Joe Francis Refuses to Surrender to US Marshalls

Joe Francis has defied a federal judge, calling him a "judge gone wild" and refusing to surrender to U.S. marshals on a contempt citation.

U.S. District Judge Richard Smoak ordered Joe Francis into custody after settlement negotiations soured in a lawsuit brought by seven women who were minors when Francis' company filmed them on Panama City Beach.

The 34-year-old Francis, who makes an estimated $29 million a year through the videos of girls exposing their breasts, drew the contempt order Wednesday after lawyers for the women said Francis threatened them during negotiations.

Francis told The Associated Press late Thursday that Smoak "had lost his mind." "This judge has gone as far as to call me the devil and an evildoer," he said. "It is a case of a judge gone wild."

Francis' attorneys appealed the order that would send him to jail; the court had not issued an opinion Thursday evening. Smoak denied a request by Francis to stay the order pending the appeal. Smoak refused requests for comment Thursday.

Paris Hilton to Do Jail Time?

Prosecutors asked a judge on Thursday to revoke Paris Hilton's probation for reckless driving, which could lead to jail time for the celebrity socialite, the City Attorney's Office said.

A hearing has been set for April 17 for prosecutors to argue that Hilton, 26, violated the terms of her probation by knowingly driving with a suspended license, said Nick Velasquez, a spokesman for the city attorney, Rocky Delgadillo.

The hotel heiress and star of the reality TV show "The Simple Life" was sentenced to three years probation in January after pleading no contest -- the equivalent of a guilty plea -- to alcohol-related reckless driving.

Five weeks later, police pulled Hilton over again in the city of West Hollywood for driving without headlights and impounded her car, a $190,000 Bentley, when they discovered her license had been suspended, authorities said.

The case was then referred to the City Attorney's Office.

At the time, Hilton's spokesman, Elliot Mintz, said his client was not aware that her driving privileges had been curtailed. But prosecutors have since concluded otherwise.

"We are confident that we have sufficient evidence to prove that her license was suspended, and that she had knowledge of that suspension," Velasquez said.

If found to have breached the terms of her probation, Hilton could be sentenced to up to 90 days in jail, he added.

The Latest Celebrity DUI

Jaime Luis Gomez, aka Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas, was arrested for marijuana possession after he was involved in a car collision.

Police were called to Grand Avenue and Valley Boulevard in the CIty of Industry around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday after a report of a non-injury vehicle collision, said Deputy Jeff Cannon.

Police talked to Gomez, 31, then detained him. A search of his vehicle turned up marijuana and medicine that did not have a required prescription, authorities said.

Gomez was booked on suspicion of possessing less than an ounce of marijuana, having a prescribed medication without a prescription and driving under the influence. All are misdemeanors, officials said.

Gomez was released after posting $5,000 bail.

Vivica A. Fox Arrested for DUI

Vivica A. Fox is the latest celebrity to be arrested for DUI.

It happened last night on the 101 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley at 10:57 p.m. Fox passed a police officer while going 80 mph.

The officers administered a field sobriety test, which Fox was unable to perform. She was then placed under arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Fox was taken to Van Nuys jail where she submitted to two breathalyzer tests.

CHP spokesman Leland Tang said, "It was definitely over the .08 legal limit." Fox was cited and released on her own recognizance and ordered to appear in court.

Kid Rock Accused of Assault

A 28-year-old woman is claiming that Kid Rock assaulted her last week (March 8) at his home.

The woman has filed a report with the Oakland County Sheriff's Department.

The alleged assault is still under investigation and possible witnesses still need to be interviewed.

The woman claims that Kid Rock invited the woman and a man to his house to listen to music after hanging out and drinking with them at the Clarkston Union Bar & Kitchen.

After hanging out for awhile, she decided to go home to be with her kids. She says that this is when Kid became angry because he wanted her to spend the night. When she refused Kid reportedly became loud and belligerent.

She went on to claim that Kid grabbed her by the back of her neck and pushed her, making her fall into the snow causing injury to her nose.

The man who was at Kid's home with the woman has corroborated her story.

Kid has admitted to officers that the woman and man were invited to his house to listen to music. He claims that he was playing songs from his upcoming album and that the woman started being obnoxious and rude, talking smack about his tracks and such.


So he asked her to leave.

That's when, according to his statements, she said was going to accuse him of assaulting her.

Then there's the third man, claiming to be witness, who is siding with Kid Rock

And lastly, officers will be interviewing a fourth person, a female, who was also at the home at the time of the alleged assault. Officers will be interviewing her soon.

Lindsay's Dad Released From Prison

Lindsay Lohan's father was released from prison early Tuesday in New York.

Michael Lohan was released Tuesday from Collins Correctional Facility near Buffalo, New York. Lohan entered the facility on June 30, 2005, for attempted assault in the second degree and aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle in the first degree.

The sentence was one and one-third to four years in prison.

Two Members of Leonardo DiCaprio's Security Team Arrested in Jerusalem

Leonardo DiCaprio and supermodel girlfriend Bar Refaeli hoped to arrive in Israel this weekend unnoticed.

They booked a late night flight from Frankfurt, Germany but it just so happened that a group of Israeli entertainment reporters were on that same flight returning from Ireland.

So much for that plan.

On Monday the couple traveled to Jerusalem where they visited the Western Wall and its subterranean tunnels in the Old City. They managed to elude paparazzi until they tried to leave.

Outside the photographers were waiting in droves. A scuffle ensued between Leo's bodyguards and the group. Some of the journalists claimed to have been punched and their cameras damaged.

After the smoke cleared, two members of Leonardo's security team were arrested.

Ken Sunshine, Leonardo DiCaprio's spokesman, said that he wasn't aware of what had happened.

"I'm in New York, he's in Israel, I just don't know," Sunshine told The ShowBuzz on Tuesday. "I presume I will get confirmation on whether or not this happened, at this point I just have no idea."

Sunshine added, "Leo is fine."

P. Diddy Sued For Assaulting a Man & Hitting on His Girlfriend

P. Diddy allegedly assaulted a man outside a post-Oscars party last week.

Estate agent Gerard Rechnitzer claims Diddy punched and pushed him and his girlfriend outside Hollywood nightclub Teddy's.

Rechnitzer, 27, says it all started when he left to use the bathroom at Teddy's and when he returned he found his fiancée surrounded by six guys, including P. Diddy.

He adds that he waited and watched Diddy as he flirted with his fiancée for about five minutes, then Rechnitzer asked her to leave with him.

Diddy, ignoring pleas from her fiancée, then told the woman he was having a party and invited her. Rechnitzer again asked her to leave with him. That's when Diddy punched him in the jaw.

An ambulance was called and Rechnitzer filed a report with the police. Of course Diddy left before they arrived. Rechnitzer declined the offer of medical treatment.

Legal papers state that "Combs, also known as 'Diddy', also known as 'P. Diddy', also known as 'Puff Daddy', also known as 'Puffy', hereinafter Defendant Combs, suddenly said to the Plaintiff, 'What the f*ck you looking at dude?'

"Then he shouted, 'I'll smack flames out of your ass!' "

Wow, that's all he could come up with?

The documents also state that Diddy "intentionally, wilfully, knowingly and unlawfully attacked, assaulted and battered" Rechnitzer causing him to "fly backward several feet" and hit a parked car.

The suit is also alleging that P Diddy pushed Rechnitzer's girlfriend and "attempted to spit on another female member" of their group.

Diddy's attorney Benjamin Brafman said, "The case will be vigorously defended.

"It's just another example of an opportunist seeking to fabricate a lawsuit based on a flat-out lie to try to take advantage of Mr. Combs' celebrity status.

"Mr. Combs did not hit anyone and Mr. Rechnitzer suffered no injuries or damages whatsoever. There is no case. It is that simple."

Former Lauguna Beach Star Arrested

Former 'Laguna Beach' star Jason Wahler was arrested and booked this weekend after resisting a public officer during a raid on underage drinkers in North Carolina.

From TMZ.com:

According to police, the 20 year-old lied about his age when asked by members of the Alcohol Law Enforcement Division inside 'Rumors' nightclub. Wahler claimed he wasn't carrying any I.D. that night, but insisted that police could "check TMZ.com" to verify his identity.

Wahler was taken to Pitt County Jail early Saturday morning, where sources claim he was anything but cooperative, shouting multiple obscenities throughout the booking process. After spending just a few hours behind bars, Wahler was released on $1000 bail.

Wahler is due to back in court in April.

The 20-year-old has a history of run-ins with the law. Wahler was arrested for misdemeanor battery after an altercation with a tow truck driver in September. Three weeks earlier, Wahler was ordered to complete five days of community service after he was arrested in New York for disorderly conduct.

Jason needs to remember to drink in California, especially Hollywood. They don't enforce the drinking age for young celebrities there.

Bobby Brown Released From Jail After Three Days

Bobby Brown has been freed from jail after paying $19,000 in past due child support and court costs.

Brown spent three days in jail after being arrested in Massachusetts.

The judge ordered him to be held until he paid off the mother of his two children, Kim Ward.

His lawyer, Phaedra Parks, said he was a star when the agreement was made but now is "not always able to find work".

Paris Hilton Caught Driving With Suspended License

Paris Hilton's driving privileges were suspended five weeks ago but that didn't stop the self loving heiress from driving.

Paris' $190,000 blue Bentley that she bought herself for Christmas has been confiscated by police.

Hilton was pulled over on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood at around 11 p.m. on Tuesday for driving without headlights.

"Miss Paris Hilton was driving the vehicle. After investigating her license status it was determined that she was driving on a suspended license," sheriff's spokesman Oscar Butao told Reuters.

"Miss Hilton was cited for a suspended license violation and released in the field. Her 2007 blue Bentley Continental GTC was impounded," Butao said.

He added that Hilton was alone and that she was not tested for alcohol. She will appear in court for driving on a suspended license but no date had yet been fixed.

Elliot Mintz, Hilton's spokesman, said his client told him she was pulled over while on her way to a store to pick up some DVDs after doing a photo shoot at her home.

He said she apparently had forgotten to turn on her headlights when she pulled out onto the roadway.

Smoking doobie's will do that to ya.

Foxy Brown Plays the Race Card

The always notorious Foxy Brown, 27, answered claims yesterday that she spit on a salon shopkeep and swung at police officers in the parking lot during a recent visit to a beauty supply store.


Brown said yesterday that she was yanked out of the womens restroom in a beauty salon with her pants down by an employee and that the police only messed with her because she is black.

"I was exposed from the waist down on the toilet," said Brown who was at Brown Memorial Baptist Church in Clinton Hill. "The only crime I'm guilty of is being a young black woman."

"I had to get dressed in front of a total stranger," she said.

Brown heads back into a Manhattan courtroom on Thursday where she faces up to a year in jail for violating her probation. If you recall, Foxy was on probation for 'pulling a Naomi' in 2004.

"We're doing excellent in anger management..couldn't be better," the rapper said.

"She should be in jail," said Jack Ryan, a spokesman for the city Probation Department.

Bam Margera and Wife Get Strip Searched in Dubai

Bam Margera got some laughs at the Entertainment Weekly Oscar party at Elaine's.






















He told NY Daily News that upon returning from his honeymoon in Dubai with new wife, Missy Rothstein, he and his wife got close and personal with airport security.

He said, "I know Perez Hilton made a joke about how Bam and Missy are going on their honeymoon in Dubai — and don't take any drugs with you because some guy just got caught with weed and got in big, big, big, big trouble.

"So I guess they were waiting for us to come in because they checked every pocket of our clothes. They even tapped out our cigarettes to make sure it was tobacco.

"Then they led both of us to a certain room, and we both had to get completely nude. I was like, 'Are they kidding?'

"They were like checking under my dick for something taped under it. I'm like, 'This is literally insane.'"

Bobby Brown Arrested Again

For the second time in a year, Bobby Brown has been arrested on a warrant for failing to appear at a child support hearing.

The R&B singer was picked up Sunday (Feb. 25) while in Massachusetts to watch his daughter at a cheerleading competition.

According to reports, Brown was scheduled to appear Monday afternoon in Norfolk Probate and Family Court, said Adam Loomis of All State Constables in Weymouth.

"He was supposed to show up and prove everything was up-to-date," Loomis said.

In October, Brown paid $11,000 in delinquent child support after being threatened with arrest if he stepped back into Massachusetts. He owed over two months of payments to Kim Ward, of Stoughton, the mother of two of his children.

In June 2004, Brown was sentenced to 90 days in prison for missing three months of payments. That sentence was immediately suspended after Brown paid about $15,000.

The Latest Celebrity DUI

Police arrested Ray Liotta for driving under the influence after he crashed his vehicle into several parked cars in Los Angeles.





















Police said that during the weekend Liotta hit two parked cars, one so forcibly that it jumped the curb, TMZ.com said. No one was injured.

Liotta was released just after midnight Sunday on $15,000 bail. A hearing is scheduled for March 19.

Foxy Brown Needs to Get Bitch Slapped

Foxy Brown was arrested and thrown in the slammer last night after hurling hair glue at a beauty shop employee and later "swatted" an officer.

She was charged with battery and resisting an officer with violence. A $1500 bond has been posted and she is expected to be released this afternoon.

As the story goes, Foxy was trying different beauty products in the bathroom of Queen Beauty Supply in Miami. When closing time came, the employee, a male, told her she had to leave. She tweaked out on him, refused to leave and threw hair glue at him. As if that wasn't enough, she pulled the ultimate disrespecting move when he called for police assistance. She spit on him.

It's not yet known how this would affect her probation. Foxy was put on three years probation back in 2004 for a similar incident involving manicurists.

Ryan O'Neal is claiming that it was his son Griffin who was the aggressor in their domestic dispute which ended with shots being fired. On the other hand it is Griffin's attorneys who are saying that it was Ryan who in fact was to blame saying that he inflicted facial lacerations on the pregnant girlfriend of Griffin's. But it gets even weirder. Ryan apparently is also saying the reason he went off on Griffin and the girlfriend was after returning home from celebrating his 60th birthday with Farrah Fawcett he found his son Redmond, 21, tied up in a dog run. Griffin reportedly tied up the younger brother who was high on PCP at the time.

American Idol Hopefulls Already Having Pasts Drudged Up

Akron Watson, who was on last nights San Antonio episode with his cousin has been dropped from the competition.

He was dropped by producers via phone call and without explanation two days before leaving for Hollywood. As it turns out, Akron was arrested in 2003 for a marijuana related incident. His court records have been obtained and posted by PegasusNews.com.

Oh geeze, here we go. Reefer madness! It was three years ago, give the guy a break.

Another contestant from San Antonio, Ashlyn Carr, also has a past arrest on her record. Last August she was arrested for pouring sugar into an ex-boyfriends gas tank. She confessed to the crime. But the crime must not have been bad enough for AI producers to can her. Ashlyn continues on in the competition.

Ryan O'Neal Fights with Son, Pulls a Gun

Ryan O'Neal, 65, was arrested Saturday morning at his Malibu home after a fight with his son, Griffin, 42.


O'Neal was booked on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and negligent discharge of a firearm. He was released from jail at 5:30am and after posting $50,000 bail.

Police told TMZ.com that O'Neal fired at least one gunshot during the scuffle. A girlfriend of Griffin's was reportedly hurt during the domestic dispute, but police failed to specify if it was due to a gunshot or not.

Griffin is apparently just as screwed up as his father. He has had multiple run ins with the law..

"Griffin O'Neal, son of Ryan and Joanna Moore, is also no stranger to the law. The 42-year-old spent 18 days in jail for not performing the community service ordered by a judge who found him guilty of reckless boating in a 1986 accident that killed the son of film director Francis Ford Coppola."

Griffin also has a history of substance abuse. He pleaded no contest to a drunken driving charge in 1989. In 1992, he agreed to spend one year in a live-in drug rehabilitation program after pleading no contest to charges he shot at his estranged girlfriend's unoccupied car."

So this looks like one big happy fucked up family.

I find it apalling that #1, a father pulled a gun in a fight with his son, and #2, that back in 1986 Griffin couldn't even perform the community service requested of him for contributing to events that resulted in the death of a person. What a slap in the face to Francis Ford Coppola and family.
