Xtina has x-ed out her summer tour — and she wants her fans to know why.

The singer was set to tour North America with British singing star Leona Lewis in a tour kicking off in Connecticut on July, but now the dates have been pushed back until 2011 and the announcement came just four days after the tickets went on sale.

What gives?
The “Back In The Day” crooner wants her loyal legion of followers to get acquainted with her new album, Bionic, when it hits shelves next month before she embarks on a stage show.

In a post on her official website Tuesday, Aguilera explained:

“I made the decision to move my summer tour and I am truly sorry to those of you who had purchased tickets and have been disappointed by the news. My album has not even been released as yet and I would like for you all to become familiar with the music before you hear it live on tour. Again, I am sorry to have to move the dates, but I promise to come see you when the time is right!”

Bionic will be her first album of new music since 2006’s Back to Basics.

X-Tina is also set to perform on tonight season finale of American Idol tonight at 8pm on FOX.

In addition, my album has not even been released as yet and I would like for you all to become familiar with the music before you hear it live on tour. Again, I am sorry to have to move the dates but I promise to come see you when the time is right!

It’s been a funny old week for Christina Aguilera – her new album ‘Bionic’ leaked two weeks ahead of its official release; her tour was postponed; and last night she appeared on American Idol…but didn’t perform her divisive new single ‘Not Myself Tonight’. Jewel is maintaining her country roots as she returns to the format with her sophomore follow-up Album, Sweet and Wild. The album, written and produced by Jewel, will be released on June 11th. The first single, "Stay Here Forever," has been embraced by critics and the video is a success on CMT and GAC.

"The theme of this album is finding what’s true about you and your life, and defending it and valuing it above all else," said Jewel. "My newest country album will share so many of my personal feelings of love and happiness that I have written into the songs," said Jewel, who married her longtime boyfriend Ty Murray in the summer of 2008. Jewel will also embark on a tour sponsored by Country Financial to support Sweet and Wild.

Also near and dear to Jewel’s heart is her charitable initiative, Project Cleanwater, which she continues to support, unwaveringly. Jewel founded Project Clean Water in 1997. Having experienced homelessness as a teenager, Jewel became ill and couldn’t afford to buy the bottled water she needed for her sick kidneys. She then realized it was difficult to obtain clean water in the United States, and discovered it was a huge problem globally. She has been relentless in her efforts to bring safe water to those in need and create awareness of clean water shortages around the world.

Project Clean Water has recently partnered with Virgin Unite and the Voss Foundation to create the "Give A Drop" campaign. Donations of $5.00 can be made by texting the message "DROP" to phone number 85944. Money raised through text donations will benefit the partnership, which is currently working in Pel in the Dogon region of Mali, where 40 water retention structures were recently completed. This spring, work will also begin to help rural villages in southeast Ethiopia expand their access to clean water.

Jewel currently lives on a working ranch in Stephenville, Texas with her husband, World Champion bull-riding superstar, Ty Murray.

你很難忘記New Young Pony Club的形象與音樂，三個濃妝艷抹的夜店咖正妹配上兩個型男，大肆慶祝Dance-Punk與Nu-Rave的盛大歡愉，一派狂歡至沒有明天的刺激與鼓動。你可以當舞國英雄沈溺於他們的節奏，也可作為搖滾阿宅批評他們的千篇一律。

不過這一切都即將改變，在經歷過Bass手離團，以及脫離主流廠牌後，暌違三年的新專輯《The Optimist》可不沒有字義上的那麼樂觀，整張專輯充滿灰暗冷調的觸感，彷彿是在空蕩昏暗的舞池中央練習後龐克之聲。酷勁十足的主唱Ty兼彈Bass後，居然是帶著剪掉獨奏後的Peter Hook風味，這讓新作籠罩在宛如襁褓中的New Order，或是操弄電氣的Siouxsie & The Banshees，那樣混合後龐克與新浪潮的神韻卻用樂團Punky與Indie-Electronic的基底去包裹，這樣的滋味堪稱獨特。雖然幾首刻意而為的Joy Division低調運行是有點太超過，但在電音系性感女聲的帶動之下，還是具備前作未有的全方位魅力，甚至會讓你忘了新專輯好像還欠了吉他的錚錚之聲。

New Young Pony Club的蛻變雖然貌不驚人，也未達到兩棲通吃的境界，但這樣電搖混合的面貌卻提煉出辨識特色與縱深內涵，只消聽過〈Before The Light〉與〈Architect Of Love〉這兩首低調誨暗又疏離失血的慢板情歌，就足以明白她們既可以是舞技超群、閃亮酷炫的耀眼女孩，但同時也是頹廢文藝、憂鬱感傷的孤獨正妹，用如此帶著些許缺陷的錯綜複雜魅惑著我們。

Lily Allen claimed she is "still rubbish", despite winning three Ivor Novello awards today (20.05.10).

The singer - who arrived at the prestigious ceremony with her four-year-old sister Teddy - broke down in tears as she received the Best Song Music and Lyrically prize for 'The Fear' and was still emotional when she and co-writer Greg Kurstin accepted the Songwriter of the Year trophy later in the afternoon.

Lily - who also won PRS For Music Most Performed Work for 'The Fear' - told BANG Showbiz. "It's just nice to be nominated. It's been just over a year since things first started with the album, so this kind of completes the circle.

"There are a lot of awards ceremonies but most of them are really commercial. This one is different so it means a lot - it really does.

"I'm still rubbish though."

One of the day's biggest shocks came when Bat For Lashes' 'Daniel' beat Dizzee Rascal's 'Bonkers' and 'In For The Kill' by La Roux to the Best Contemporary Song gong.

Bat For Lashes - real name Natasha Khan - said:

"I think I'm going to sleep with the trophy tonight! I've been nominated for awards before, but never won so I was always the bridesmaid and tonight I'm the bride."

Paolo Nutini admitted he was "surprised" to beat Dizzee and the Duckworth Lewis method to the Album Award.

He said:

"It was a surprise. Everyone who won was on the other side of the room so I thought they'd put them there for easy access to the stage, so I was shocked.

"I sat back down afterwards, I've never won anything before so I didn't know what happens next."

Other winners at the ceremony - which were presented by Paul Gambaccini at London's Grosvenor Hotel - included Paul Weller who received the Lifetime Achievement Award, legendary guitarist Johnny Marr, who took home the Ivors Inspiration Award, Neil Sedaka, who was recognised with the Special International Award and producer Trevor Horn, who was honoured with the PRS For Music Outstanding Contribution to British Music.

Possessing one of the most distinctively sensitive (and sensual) female voices, Tracey Thorn and her Everything But the Girl partner Ben Watt redefined the limits of intimate and intelligent alt-pop in the 80's and 90's. After a self-imposed leave of absence from recording and performing beginning in 2000 to raise a family, Thorn made a welcome return in 2007 with Out of the Woods, an album The Guardian described as "a spellbinding mix of shimmering folk and shimmying disco." Once again working with Woods producer Ewan Pearson, Thorn is back with Love and It's Opposite (May 18, Merge), an album that leaves behind the dancefloor beats for a more personal, starkly direct set of ten observational songs.

"It is a record about the person I am now and the people around me,” says Thorn, "About real life after forty." With eight self-penned tracks tackling marriage ("Long White Dress") and divorce ("Oh The Divorces"), being on your own ("Singles Bar") and what Thorn refers to as "the hope for love's survival" ("Swimming"), Love and Its Opposite also offers up a pair of well-chosen covers, including "Come On Home To Me" by the late, great Lee Hazelwood (and featuring a duet with Jens Lekman). Grown up and downtempo, Thorn's way with bittersweet chamberpop is a thing of wonder. Highly recommended.

「跨時代」歌曲的創作與MV拍攝橫跨不同的空間與時間，這首歌是2008年周杰倫在拍攝「魔杰座」專輯裡的「喬克叔叔」MV時有的靈感，當時身兼導演的周杰倫覺得『喬克叔叔』MV畫面已經足夠了，而現場搭建好的鐘樓場景讓他頓時靈感泉湧，有一種想立刻創作新歌與拍MV的衝動！在已經是午夜時分的片場，他帶著舞蹈老師從林口片場開車到三重編曲老師的家裡，迅速的把腦海中的旋律寫成了這首新歌「跨時代」，舞蹈老師也同步編舞，隨後帶著熱騰騰的demo再回到林口片場準備拍攝全新歌曲的MV，從他離開片場到回來的2.5小時裡，周杰倫現學現跳立即展開拍攝，直到中午才收工，「跨時代」MV的舞蹈部分就這樣傳奇的完成！雖然大家都累垮了，卻也不得不佩服周董的天份，因為沒人可以像他一樣，在如此短暫的時間裡一手搞定音樂和影像！

「跨時代」這首歌，名符其實的跨時代！2001年周杰倫寫了與吸血鬼有關的「威廉古堡」，2008年片場的的鐘樓場景讓他想重新再寫一首進化版的吸血鬼歌曲，誕生了「跨時代」這首歌，2010年他將影像再做極致的呈現，配合曲風動用片場的兩個大棚搭了三個場景，還打造了一台機械感的鋼琴，這台機械般造型的鋼琴令人眼睛為之一亮！它有著顏色顛倒的黑白鍵、略有管風琴味道的琴身，以及汽車排氣管般的花俏造型，琴身上發亮的機關與流竄的發光電流還會根據彈琴的速度做不同顏色的變化！之所以想設計這樣一台機械感的鋼琴是因應MV需求，周杰倫說：「通常狼人變身是因為月圓，在我MV裡吸血鬼會變身是因為聽到琴聲，琴聲會泯滅他的人性。」童心未泯的周導在介紹這台獨一無二的鋼琴時，不忘開玩笑說：「這排氣管在彈琴彈到很火爆的時候還會噴火喔！」充滿想像力！周董也透露這麼屌的一台特製鋼琴，也將會在他最新的「超時代世界巡迴演唱會」派上用場！屆時大家就可以見識到這台機械感鋼琴了！

「跨時代」的曲風融合了Auto Tune與古典風格的重搖滾電子曲風，歌詞出自黃俊郎之手，MV營造出跨越中古世紀到現代、未來華麗神秘的吸血鬼故事背景，MV除了2008年搭建的鐘樓場景，日前在片場又大費周章的搭了三個場景，包括有燭台擺置的房間、華麗陰森餐廳的內景、以及餐廳外景延伸出來的巨大圓形碉堡，光場景的講究就足以令人震懾！而片廠牆壁的綠背景上貼滿等距的十字標籤，則是為了之後精準的特效後製作準備，像是周董在碉堡前彈奏鋼琴的背景就後製成大雪紛飛的逼真模樣。

整支MV沒有對嘴，完全以緊湊的劇情為主軸，精湛的舞蹈突顯了歌曲的強烈節奏，此外使用電影高規格的35厘米底片拍攝，講究的場景、細緻的服裝造型、精彩的後製特效，再加上造價100萬的特製機械感鋼琴，使得整支MV成本高達1000萬！在唱片市場景氣寒冬的今日可謂羨煞同業！對擁有天份與自身努力兼具的周杰倫來說，在他完成一首歌的同時，影像就同時存在了，堅持影像和音樂都要一樣屌的的周杰倫堪稱是藝術家！

肥蘭妮 Britney Spears “Telephone” AUDIO Leaked?

UPDATE: Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins has confirmed that it is real. It's a very very early rough demo.

As many of you already know Lady GaGa's hit single "Telephone" was originally going to be for Britney Spears. Gaga wrote the track for Spears and it was produced by Rodney Jerkins. Spears 顯然obviously turned the track down and GaGa put it on "The Fame Monster." Here we have what is said to be Britney's demo of "Telephone" but it is questionable. What do you guys think? Is it real or fake?

A demo believed to Britney Spears singing Lady Gaga’s hit single “Telephone” made its way to the Internet over the weekend. Last year, producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins revealed that he and Gaga had penned the song for an appearance on Spears’ 2008 Circus album, but the single failed to make the final cut.

Finally, Gaga decided to record the tune herself, and recruited fellow music diva Beyonce for a music video that some “Little Monsters” have branded “epic.”

In what may be the funniest video of the week, US soldiers stationed in Afghanistan (specifically the 82nd Airborne Division from the Forward Operating Base in Farah Province) put their down time to good use to produce a full-fledged music video parody of Lady Gaga’s video smash “Telephone.”

We've been fans of the contemporary Brit folk duo of Megson for a few years now, first taking note of how Stu and Debbie Hanna's exquisite harmonies and mastery of traditional instruments -- mandolin, penny whistle, etc. -- brought a fresh approach to a genre that frankly can get a little dusty. While they've moved closer to a more classically retro sound over the course of three albums, the Hannas are still able to conjure up a little more modern Damien Rice/Lisa Hannigan-styled acoustic magic now and then. Our all-time fave Megson track, "Fell to the Breeze," is a brisk and buskery little number from their Smoke of Home album -- a song that came to mind when we saw that a new album The Longshot was set for a June 7 release in the U.K.
